A few months ago my dad asked me to enter him in a drawing for a Chevi truck. The contest was all online and he really doesn't do the Internet ( he can check his email) so it was my job to enter him. I completely forgot about this contest until a few days ago when someone called to tell him he won the 2nd place prize. My dad won a trip for him and a guest (my mom) to Indianapolis to see the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard. The package includes airfare, hotel, tickets to the qualifying, tickets to the race, guided special access tour, an invitation to the Chevrolet reception and a meet and greet with Dale Earnhardt Jr.
How funny that my dad won this prize! I never thought my parents would go to a Nascar race!
Somehow I just can't envision mom and dad at a NASCAR event.
