Today I am so tired! I was up in the middle of the night with Brody, the poor boy is teething.
Instead of dreading getting out of bed and wishing him back to sleep, I sat there with him snuggled in my arms and I was grateful. I am so grateful for every moment I get to spend with him and even more grateful for the times he wants me to snuggle him.
The other day while Brody and I were watching Shrek, he was sitting next to me and he kept putting his head on my lap and then he finally just crawled up on my lap and cuddled with me. It made me so happy I started to cry.
I am so thankful for ever moment I get to spend with my Brody boy!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you can enjoy the moments and not wish them away. Sometimes mom's do that, but we should just savor each time and stage.
That is so sweet. It was good to see on Sunday. Brody is adorable and Ruby keeps asking about him.
