Blogger's Recipe Roundup- Chewy Granola Bars
Today's recipe is from Amanda of the blog Every Little Thing. You may also know her from the Bake it Pretty shop. If you haven't visited her store before, go there now!
Chewy Granola Bars
4 1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup (give or take) mix ins of your choice
Mix in ideas
Mini chocolate chips
coconut
cinnamon
nuts
raisins and cran-raisins
Dried fruit
Sky's the limit folks
Mix all ingredients together until well moistened.
Press into a well greased 9x13 baking dish.
Bake at 325 degrees for 18 minutes.
Let cool completely (I mean it, be patient)
Cut into bars of any shape or size your heart desires.
