Eighteen Months

Today Brody turned one and a half! My little baby is growing up so fast.
They say the biggest changes in a child are in the first year, but the last six months I have seen Brody change almost every day. I am so grateful that I get to stay home to see these changes. Every day it's something new with him.

Brody is such a boy, he loves to play ball, watch cars (especially the loud ones). He loves to play outside and run. He is always ducking behind the couch to play peek a boo or trying to get us to chase him.


He loves Kitty and is always calling for her, or trying to point to her eye as he repeatedly says "eye".

He is such a little goof. Brody has a fake little laugh he uses to make us laugh, he thinks he is so funny. He likes to feign surprise by holding up his hands and saying "ohh" or "wow".

Our little boy loves music, always has. He is known to start dancing if he hears music. He even has favorite songs that make him dance more than others.



Like all little kids, Brody's feelings get hurt and he needs to snuggle on my shoulder. Of course his feelings got hurt because I said no. He is a very sweet boy but can be very defiant. Does he get that from me or Travis?

He is learning lots of new words and is jabbering all the time. He loves to say hi to people we pass on our walks or at the store but will get a bit shy if they come up to him to talk.

Brody is such a fun little boy!
