Oreo Cookies
By Julie from Julie's Food Love
1 box any flavor cake mix
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
Place cake mix, oil and eggs in mixing bowl. Mix until well blended.
Drop by rounded teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.
Cool 3 minutes on cookie sheet then transfer to cooling rack to cool completely.
The cookies are puffed and full when they first come out of the oven. While cooling they will flatten a bit.
Cream Cheese Frosting
1/4 cup butter, softened
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar
5-6 T. milk
Mix butter, cream cheese, vanilla together until smooth. Add powdered sugar and half of the milk and mix until smooth. Slowly add remaining milk until it is the desired consistency.
mmmm-so saving this one!

ReplyDeleteI couldn't get this recipe out of my mind, so I'm sharing it on my weekly Cups of Tea tomorrow (May 16th). Stop on by. I have a feeling my readers will be thank you. =)
ReplyDeletePlease tell me what I am doing wrong when it comes to frosting, as no matter what recipe I follow, it comes out like a watery glaze.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try these and see if it makes a difference.
Came from SITS to say hi

ReplyDeleteThose look really good! I miss terribly these things called farmeos from a restaurant in Los Angeles. We just can't find anything like them in NY. Those look close.
ReplyDeleteYUM! Are you still doing these roundups? I'd love to participate if you are.
