I been watching a lot of documentaries instead of movies (just watched one on the "witch children" of Africa). It's really sad and it shows how financial gain is mingled with Christianity at the sake of innocent children. My husband is taking me to see A-Team tonight (he loved it growing up).
I haven't seen any god ones since arriving in Iraq, there is a place we can get "copies" of movies but they are usually very bad quality. I keep replaying AVATAR, the colors are so refreshing!
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is one of the best movies. EVER. I really want to see The Young Victoria. I just need Michael to be gone for a night so that I can watch it. (He really doesn't do girl movies.)
Love the tips! We are headed to Shrek today!

ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday SITS Sharefest!
We watched "The Happening" the other night - it was so-so.
ReplyDelete"Adam" OTOH was really good. Excellent portrayal of someone w/Asperger's Syndrome!

ReplyDeleteOK - Dirty Rotten Scoundrels? Classic! Steve Martin and Michael Caine are brilliantly hilarious! Lately, we've been into the Disney princess movies...
ReplyDeleteDear John,
ReplyDeleteYou have set the new standard for terrible chick-flicks. You failed at trying to be The Notebook.
I thought movies were supposed to entertain their watchers. The eight minutes that I experienced is gone forever.
I would rather have a tack hammer smash my knuckles than watch that again.
Goodbye forever,
Trav
