Weddings are always one of my favorite events to get ready for. It gives you an excuse to get a little more dolled up than you would for church. Spring/Summer weddings are especially great because the cute sundress options are endless. As always, obey the cardinal rule of never wearing all white to a wedding, but that doesn't mean you have to shy away from lighter colors. If your dress has ivorys and neutral colors in it (like the dress pictures above), throw on a cute cardigan to add a little pop of color.
A great nude peep toe is essential to a warm weather wardrobe, but a nude heal with the cut-out detailing adds a vintage look that works great for a wedding. And accessories always complete a look. I chose not to go with a necklace for this look since the high boat neck deserves all the attention, but some statement earrings and a thick gold bangle are the perfect additions.
Finish off the look with long lose curls, a simple eye, and some coral lipstick and you are ready to congratulate the bride and get down on the dance floor!
Love those shoes!
ReplyDeleteI'd be way too afraid to wear a dress that light to a wedding! It's so beautiful though. LOVE the shoes.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty outfit! I like going to weddings, it's fun to get all dolled up.
