Now that Brody is getting older we have been working on teaching him the alphabet. He loves singing the alphabet song and he can recognize quite a few letters. He usually points out when he sees a "B" and tells me "B for Brody" he also recognizes "D for you mom" or "E for Ella" and "L for Leah".
I was thrilled when I saw this alphabet tracing printable set by Lauren from Lawteedah. I printed the entire alphabet and put them in plastic sheet covers and organized them in a binder so Brody can use a dry erase marker to practice writing his letter. He loves it!
How do you help teach your kids the alphabet?
These are darling! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteJust by singing it all the time! Our 2 1/2 year old now proudly sings it all by himself. I like this idea for when he starts to write the alphabet!
