Pregnant With Twins: 21 Weeks
My belly is so big I feel like I should be farther along then 21 weeks
I am tired all the time
The babies are really starting to move and kick
Brody is always telling me all the things he is going to do to help with the babies
The crazy vivid dreams have stopped
I have been craving salads
We are starting to stock up on diapers
We are told to expect to go through 20 diapers a day, that's 140 diapers a week

Paper Leaf Mobile
Last year Brody and I made a fall mobile and I want to share it again with you this year. It didn't take long to make and Brody had a fun time helping me make it.
The beauty of fall decor is that you can leave it up longer than Halloween decorations as it blends in with the Thanksgiving holiday.
Supplies:2 pieces of 2" x 11" cardstock
Glue Dots® (Craft Glue Dots® and Mini Glue Dots®)
7-11 pieces of string (I used fishing line) 19"- 21" long
An assortment of colored paper leaves
Lets get started.
First I made a paper circle by taking the two strips of paper and placed two Craft Glue Dots® on one end of each strip of paper and pressed them to the end of the other strip without Glue Dots®.
Using a whole punch, cut three evenly spaced holes in the circle.
Next take three pieces of string and tie each one to the holes.
Once all three strings are attached tie them together near the free end.
This is where you will hang your mobile.
Next place a Mini Glue Dot® on each leaf and press to the string.
Repeat until your leaf mobile is full.
Hang mobile and enjoy.Monday, October 22, 2012

The machine was designed to commemorate the 160 anniversary of Singer.
This sewing machine is seriously awesome! If you are thinking about buying one I vote you do it.
Not only do I love the retro design but it sews like a dream.
What kind of sewing machine do you have?

DIY Braveheart Costume
Make your own William Wallace costume from Braveheart with things you already have at home.
You will need:
Plaid skirt or kilt (Brody is wearing a real kilt in the family tartan)
Plain colored shirt
Sash (we don't have a sash in the family tartan so we just used scrap fabric)
Blue and white face paint
Sword (sadly Brody doesn't have a sword)
The red hair and angry face completes the costume.

Decorated PIllowcases
Be sure to put a piece of cardboard inside the pillowcase so the paint doesn't bleed through to the other side. Use a foam brush to apply paint to the bottom of your stamp (use fabric paint, or mix fabric medium into regular paint).
Place the stamp on the fabric, press firmly, and pull straight up. Repeat until you're satisfied with the pattern. Let the paint dry (I always pull out my hair dryer at this point to speed it up) then do the other side.
My girls had a great time making their own pillowcases t0 take on vacation! Hope you'll try it out and have fun creating with your kids!
